Meet Candice Pahl, the dynamo of the NASCAR Advanced Auto Pats Weekly Series! As a young female trailblazer in NASCAR, from Alberta,Canada, this fierce competitor has qucikly moved up the ranks to become a top contending competior in every class she participates in. In 2010, Candice made EIR history when she became one of the 4, 1st Canadian females to compete in the newly created Future Stock Class at EIR. After racking up countless Future Stock and Feature Stock victories, at age 18 Candice, with the help of her family converted her 1985 IROC Camaro into a Thunder Car. Competing as one of the youngest drivers and only female, Candice crowned the title of the 1st female to win a 100 lap race in the Thunder Car Special.
In 2019 Candice made her dream of racing a 602 crate Super Stock car become a reality, driving for Tom Gillison in the Super Stock Divison at EIR. Candice was quick to pick up on 350HP machine and was crowned Rookie of the Year. Her talent, professionalism and marketability has caught the eye of many NASCAR fans, teams, companies making her and ideal asset to anyone she partners with!
Often referred as “the Firecracker”, Candice has overcome much adversity to make her way up the ranks. In addition to being a race car driver, Candice is also a Heavy Equipment Technician. Utilizing her knowledge in motorsports and mechanics to help understand the science of setting up, communicating, and the work behind achieving a winning race team and car.
Everyone who meets Candice knows her for her quirky, kind, and authentic personality. Fearless, fierce and competitive in the race car, but is a modest and gentle person away from the track.
In 2024 Candice raced full time in the Thunder Car Class and Late Model Class at EIR, while also competing in the 2024 WIMNA Accelerate Her Contingency Fund, being one of the only full time Canadian racers out of 23 women across North America, Candice finished the year placing 4th in both Thunder Car and Late Model Classes, and placed 5th in the WIMNA competition.
